About Simone Oliver

Simone Oliver is a preacher, educator, resilience life coach, author, and speaker. She is a passionate advocate for women whose pragmatic, earthy style reaches the heart of an issue and the hearts of women. Simone has shifted from tragedy to triumph and is committed to the spiritual care and well-being of women and girls. She brings healing to wounded hearts by the power of God’s grace and is a certified Trauma Healing facilitator. Simone is a powerful preacher of the Gospel and a gifted empowerment speaker.


Simone’s avid interest in reading and the power of language led her to complete her undergraduate education at New Jersey City University earning a BA in English/Literature. She taught English and Reading in the public-school system and was a featured educator on New Jersey Classroom Close-up. She received her Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary with a certificate in Women’s Studies and was the recipient of the John Allen Swink Award for Excellence in Preaching.


Simone, along with her husband Allen, founded ReVision Ministries in 2012. They work to see all people empowered to reach their highest potential while educating houses of worship on ways to fully embrace feminine gifts and become safe spaces free of harassment and abuse. As a minister and a life coach, Simone facilitates a variety of workshops and is a speaker for retreats, civic, and social events.


Simone is the author of The Pearl of God’s Eye, From Grace to Grace: A Prayer & Healing Journal; and has written for the blogs For Harriet and Blessed Chix. She has co-authored two anthologies, Gumbo for the Soul: The Recipe for Literacy in the Black Community and God Said I Am Battle Scar Free an Amazon Best Seller. She was an honored recipient of the Phoenix Award from Harambe Social Services for her work in the field of domestic violence. Simone is a member of the Women of Color Network and the National Council of Negro Women; however, her greatest joy is life with her husband and daughter.
